Special Announcement from Rick Clendenen Ministries

As you know, Bro. Rick was promoted to heaven three years ago this month (in May of 2020). We surely miss his teachings, his godly influence and certainly his contagious personality. We know he is rejoicing in the presence of the Lord who he loved and served so well.

As with most things in life, transition is inevitable. RCM was formed in 2008 and enjoyed years of successful ministry both here and abroad. Hundreds of churches were planted using the Community Transformation Center (CTC) Program model that has proved very successful in establishing believers in a local church and assisting them in literacy skills and improving their livelihood through vocational training. As faithful prayer partners, you have been key in the work of the Lord in these foreign lands. As Papa used to say, there is “fruit added to your account” as you supported these efforts prayerfully and financially.

Debbie Clendenen has been the Administrator of RCM since the beginning and will be retiring this month. No one has done more to make RCM a success than she has over these past fifteen years. Even through the loss of her beloved husband, she has served the ministry and the Lord with excellence. We cannot possibly thank her enough for her sacrifice and hard work.

We also want to thank Richie and Renee and the entire Clendenen family for loaning this precious couple to us over the years. We know the family sacrificed a great deal to allow them to reach the world for Christ. Their account in heaven is enriched as well. We love and appreciate them greatly.

So, RCM will be sunsetted this month May 2023). However, the legacy of Rick and Debbie Clendenen will live on in several ways.

• This website will continue to be a repository for all things Rick and Debbie, including access to the Rick Clendenen Products store. It will become a legacy site to honor their service and a place for periodic updates as needed.

• The AFL Facebook page will continue as we post archival posts and new information as needed. We will also post sermons by Bro. Rick as recorded around the country from late May through early October, including the last devotionals he did on behalf of his home church. We will also post the last message he preached in the mission field in South Africa in 2019. The videos will also be available on this website under the "Videos" tab. We trust you will enjoy seeing and hearing him again.

• The RCM Facebook page will be archived and removed from view in the month of May, so please join us today at the AFL Facebook page here:  https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100066979614740 if you haven’t already.

• The Podbean podcasts have been modified to remove references to RCM. You may still hear them as always during this transition period. They will still be available on this AFL website and the AFL Facebook page as well going forward.

Of course, every day Rick and Debbie’s impact will be felt around the world in the ministries and lives of their many spiritual sons. When he was no longer able to travel, he knew he was preaching in many pulpits every week through the ones he influenced. It gave him great comfort.

There are a few more changes that are needed. We have discontinued the donations account with PayPal and the giving by text that RCM has used. If you desire to continue to support Rick and Debbie’s work in the mission field through CTCs and other means, we would refer you to their continuing legacy through CTMF here: https://www.ctmfellowship.com/ and other mission outreaches they assisted over the years.

Still, Sis. Debbie will be active in our lives. She will continue to impact those in her local church and speak to millennials and women’s groups. We who know her can rest assured she will continue to cheer us on as we continue in our assignments for the kingdom.

Her mailing address is 422 West Ninth Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025 in case you need to reach out to her by snail mail. You may also keep in touch with her whether by text, email, phone, or on Facebook.

Finally, I would like to thank each one of you who in any way loved and supported this amazing couple and made their ministry dreams come true. We who served on the board of RCM were so honored and privileged to work alongside them. The ultimate goal of RCM was to equip leaders to embrace the world.  Under their leadership, I believe this goal was accomplished. To God be the Glory!

May God richly bless you.
